Production company Arts & Sciences has entered a partnership with Paris-based production company La Pac to launch Le Pac, serving as the U.S. home base to select directors from their roster. This marks the first U.S. representation for La Pac, one of France’s most well-respected production houses.

Directors who will form the initial Le Pac US roster are Quentin Deronzier, Nathalie Canguilhem, Ab/cd/cd, Colin Solal Cardo, Lisa Paclet, Lysa Thieffry, and Adrien Wagner. All these filmmakers--except for Canguilhem--now garner their first American market representation via the bond formed with Arts & Sciences. Canguilhem was previously repped in the U.S. via production company Superprime.

A core strength of the newly formed Le Pac is its foundation of visually-driven directors coming from the world of fashion and music videos. Designer collaborations include projects for Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent, and many more. To support the Le Pac directors’ highly lauded work in music videos, Le Pac will launch with Benjamin Bernard as the EP for music videos. Le Pac’s directors have helmed hit music videos for a who’s who of international artists like The Weeknd, Charlie XCX, Travis Scott, Franz Ferdinand, Grizzly Bear, Christine and the Queens, Kimbra, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and many others.

One of France’s most well-respected production houses, La Pac shares a like-minded philosophy with Arts & Sciences. Mal Ward, managing director and partner at Arts & Sciences, said, “We [at Arts & Sciences] have a legacy of building and breaking talent, and we’re honored to be the catalyst bringing the talent of La Pac to the U.S. market. We are similar in how we work and the setup of our companies. Jérôme Denis’, La Pac’s managing director, expertise is priceless. This is a bona fide partnership, in every sense.”

Denis offered, “At La Pac, we already represent Arts & Sciences directors Anthony Mandler and The Bobbsey Twins From Homicide, so I knew our rosters would fit each other’s company. We make sense together. It’s like we share DNA in working with creatives and running our companies. Success is based on hard work, and we make a great team. I believe that alone, you go fast, but together you go further. There’s no way Le Pac can succeed without the expertise of Arts & Sciences. Mal is the sharpest and most engaging potential partner we could ask for. We look forward to what’s next with this humble, ambitious partnership.”

La Pac has collected over 65 Cannes Lions as well as a Palme d’Or and Grand Prix since its inception in 1972, developing a reputation for creative excellence and working with the world’s top talent. It is currently led by CEO Denis who will continue to oversee his roster of talent in the U.S, in addition to the support Le Pac directors will receive from Arts & Sciences EPs and sales reps.
