Dan Zank, of<a href="(www.yessian.com)“> Yessian Music’s New York studios, had the opportunity to arrange the opening musical number featuring Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway for the 81st annual Oscar® show. Zank, who had been involved with the project for many weeks prior to the event, managed to keep the number a secret right up until the start of the show in order to adhere to the Academy’s guidelines.
Dan Zank has been a senior staff writer with<a href="(www.yessian.com)“> Yessian for over seven years. During that time he has composed an impressive array of work for a variety of A-list clients including Terminator 3, Morgan Stanley, Coca-Cola, Ford Motor Company, Disney and Unilever.
“It was a thrill to be part of such a great tradition and last night’s show was as good as it gets,” says Zank.
“Dan’s creative expertise helped make the musical piece a success!” says Brian Yessian, CCO at<a href="(www.yessian.com)“> Yessian Music. “He is an amazing composer powerhouse and we are excited to see him involved in such a high-profile piece.”
