Alicia Keys VO Urges "No Child Is Born With HIV By 2015"
ONE, the anti-poverty organization co-founded by Bono, has launched a new cutting edge PSA campaign. <a href="http://www.visualmusicartists.com.“>Visual Music creative director <a href="http://www.visualmusicartists.com.bio.html”>Tom Seufert produced the original score, collaborating with Walton Isaacson creative director Ed Han and Michael Stillman, producer with The Famous Group. Singer and activist Alicia Keys narrates the PSA, which was launched across leading digital platforms around the globe including You Tube, Facebook and Twitter.
The unique campaign features pregnant women and displays the beauty and fear intertwined behind every pregnancy. Displaying questions such as, “will she have AIDS?” delicately written across rounded bellies, shows the uncertain reality for many women, especially in third world countries and dilapidated areas throughout the U.S. The PSA was released as part of a broader campaign to urge world leaders meeting in New York for the United Nations General Assembly to fully fund the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria. It asks viewers to go to ONE.org and join a petition to President Obama to commit $6 billion to the Global Fund over the next 3 years.
Music for the ONE.org PSA “Bellies” features an original score by Andy Mendelson. “When Ed Han asked <a href="http://www.visualmusicartists.com.“>Visual Music to participate, we were honored,” said Seufert. <a href="http://www.visualmusicartists.com.“>Visual Music composers Damien Heartwell, Steve Morrell and Dean Grinsfelder also created music for the PSA during an extensive search process for the right approach.
