The 16th annual VIEW Conference, Italy's premiere annual gathering of industry professionals presenting the latest news and trends across all areas of the digital arts, including Computer Graphics, Interactive Techniques, Digital Cinema, 2D/3D Animation, Gaming and VFX, has announced a special, cross-promotional partnership this year with the 67th Annual Prix Italia, the oldest international radio and television competition in the world. The VIEW Conference takes place Oct. 18-23, in Turin, Italy.

The 67th Annual Prix Italia, founded by Rai in 1948 and directed by Secretary General Paolo Morawski, will be held in Turin, Italy, Sept. 19-24. This year's Prix will present 348 programs in competition (all available to the public on demand) from 89 radio, television and web broadcasters, representing 34 countries from every continent, plus, this year, 70 independent players. The Prix will be held at the Rai Production Center on Via Verdi, in the Choir Room of the Auditorium Rai and at the Cinema Massimo.
The opening event of the Prix will be "The Power of Storytelling. The Creativity Laboratory," on September 19th, a day dedicated to recounting art, the arts and music, and which will offer new perspectives for European Public Service broadcasters. Also on September 19th, the Prix will present: an international seminar "European Identity and Diversity: Community Integration with a View to Cross-Media Public Service." Additional presentations during the Prix will include: the laboratory "Performing Arts (Dance, Art, Opera)" with Nicholas Payne, Director of Opera Europa; "Music Storytelling, Are the Young Listening?"; and "Inside The Music: A Meeting with Manfred Eicher," in which the founder of the prestigious record company ECM talks about his world and the music which populates it. 
The Rai previews will be held at the Cinema Massimo, where Rai Cultura will present the premiere of "Lehman Trilogy," the last show Luca Ronconi directed. For more information, please see:  and
