The humorous :30 and :15 spots tackle the sensitive subject of lawn disease - and introduce the groundbreaking solution, Scotts Turf Builder Healthy Plus Lawn Food
No one wants to catch lawn disease, and discussing treatment for this very public malady can be uncomfortable. In two new spots from Scotts – “The Talk” :30, and “Misdiagnosis” :15 – the brand’s lawn doctor – Scott for Scotts – returns with expert advice. Treading the turf of double entendres with the lawn doctor and his patients are agency MullenLowe, which created the campaign, production company Smuggler and director Benji Weinstein, editorial company Union NY and editor Justin Quagliata, aka “Q”.
In “The Talk,” Scott gets serious with a man about lawn care, sharing graphic depictions of lawn disease, followed by a revelation of Scotts Turf Builder Healthy Plus Lawn Food, which prevents 27 diseases while feeding your grass.
Similarly, Scott resolves a “Misdiagnosis” by letting a woman know that her dry spots in her lawn can be cured not by watering, but through treatment with Scotts Turf Builder Healthy Plus Lawn Food.
Both spots are airing now.
