    Twentieth Century Fox Studios Utilizes Archion’s Synergy HDu Storage Solution for “The Tooth Fairy”

    Archion Technologies, the leading provider of intelligent storage solutions for content creation, today announced that Twentieth Century Fox Studios has once again turned to the company’s Synergy HDu™ storage solution, this time for their feature film “Tooth Fairy.” The studio first reached out to Archion during the production of “The Day the Earth Stood Still” and has utilized Archion’s Synergy HDu™ storage technology for several new films.     Dwayne Johnson is “The Tooth Fairy,” also known as Derek Thompson, a hard-charging minor league hockey player whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids. When Derek discourages a youngster’s hopes, he’s sentenced to one week’s hard labor as a “real” tooth fairy, complete with the requisite wings and magic wand. At first, Derek “can’t handle the tooth”—bumbling and stumbling as he tried to furtively wing his way through strangers’ homes…doing what tooth fairies do. But, as Derek slowly adapts to his new position, he begins to rediscover his own forgotten dreams.
