Trailer Park, the industry’s leading entertainment marketing agency, has named Rick Eiserman to the position of CEO. Eiserman had formerly been North American Managing Partner with Young & Rubicam Brands. Tim Nett, Trailer Park’s Executive Creative Director, and Joel Johnston, Trailer Park’s COO, jointly made the announcement.
In his new position, Eiserman will be responsible for driving greater efficiency and synergy across the various boutiques recently assembled under the Trailer Park banner. He will expand Trailer Park’s entertainment marketing services, primarily in the areas of digital, retail and viral, while maintaining the company’s award winning, creative quality. In efforts to meet the marketplace’s growing demand for content, Eiserman will also expand the company’s existing content creation business unit.
Mr. Nett said, “Rick Eiserman has a unique and diverse background, and is the perfect addition to Trailer Park, as we seek to offer broader creative solutions to our existing and future clients. Building on our deep knowledge of entertainment marketing, Rick will ensure that we are leveraging every channel and tool imaginable to help our clients reach their target audiences on a global scale.”
Added Mr. Johnston, “Without question, the timing is right to grow and expand our creative offerings, especially in the digital and retail arenas. We are looking to Rick’s guidance and expertise in these fields, as he will certainly help Trailer Park to bolster these offerings.”
Rick Eiserman said, “For me, the attraction to join Trailer Park was its superior creative talent, its position as an industry leader, and its widespread opportunities for future growth. Building on the company’s solid creative foundation, we will, together, continue to evolve the agency to meet the needs of the ever-changing entertainment universe.”
He adds, “This is a 300-person agency that specializes in the creation, collection, packaging and marketing of content. Beyond its current roster of world-renowned entertainment clients, Trailer Park is uniquely positioned to also meet the growing content needs of the broader marketing industry.”
ABOUT RICK EISERMAN:
Prior to joining Trailer Park, Rick Eiserman was North America Managing Partner at Young & Rubicam Brands, Southern California, and Y & R’s Global Client Partner Lead on the Land Rover and Mattel businesses, since early 2006.
In his role as Managing Partner of Young & Rubicam Brands, SoCal, Eiserman ran a 200+ employee agency, spanning digital, direct, events, promotions, advertising and viral. After overhauling the operation in early 2006, the office went on to exceed forecast by over 30% and served as the lead growth engine for Y&R Advertising in the U.S. Under his leadership, the agency won over $150 million in new billings for 2007 alone, adding Toshiba Computers, Pony, Jenny Craig and Accenture Global/Digital.
Before joining YRB SoCal, Eiserman was CEO and a founding member of BrandBuzz, based in New York City. BrandBuzz, launched in 2000, grew to become a 65-person full service agency, with clients that included LG Mobile/Appliances/Electronics, MSN and the NBA.
In addition to BrandBuzz, Eiserman was responsible for launching two specialty units within WPP — BIG, a consulting unit specializing in developing adver-gaming and in-game strategies for brands; and Bounce Entertainment & Events, a strategic alliance designed to provide experiential marketing solutions for clients.
Eiserman began his career at Y&R New York, working in account management (with clients including Campbells, Sony and Blockbuster,) before moving on to new business. During that time, he was a junior member of the new business team that drove over $1 billion in global new business out of New York, and helped Y&R New York to be named “Global New Business Agency of the Year” by Advertising Age.
During his career, Eiserman has had the pleasure of leading multiple client businesses, most notably Land Rover Global, LG North America, and the NBA. He has also been a guest speaker on CNN’s “Showbiz Tonight” and CNBC’s “Kudlow & Cramer” programs.
