Trailer Park, the industry’s leading entertainment marketing agency, has announced its expanding Video Games Group, with a new hire and a company promotion. Trailer Park has named Videogame Industry Veteran Richard Sankey as Co-Director of TP Video Games, and has, concurrently, also promoted Brian Setzer to Co-Director of that same group. The announcements were made today by Rick Eiserman, CEO, Trailer Park, Inc.
Recent projects from TP Video Games include the award winning integrated campaign for Borderlands, and the recently awarded campaign for Batman: Arkham Asylum 2. In addition, TP Video Games has been responsible for launching many of the most recognizable brands over the last 12 months, including Bioshock 2, Little Big Planet, Uncharted 2, MAG, and Lego Harry Potter, among others.
ABOUT RICHARD SANKEY
With over 12 years of experience in a broad diversity of successful entertainment launches, ranging from new IPs to established franchises, Videogame Industry Veteran Richard Sankey, most recently Vice President, Games, Crew Creative, brings to Trailer Park a proficiency and understanding of the gaming landscape seasoned by the shepherding of over 100 campaigns for many of the industry’s leading publishers. These have included projects for: EA, Sega, Sony Online Entertainment, Atari, LucasArts, Warner Brothers Interactive, Ubisoft and Disney Interactive, among several others.
For each IP launch he directs, Sankey specializes in crafting a comprehensive brand vision that is clear, consistent and unwavering, while at the same time versatile enough to be applied across the extensive array of media platforms necessary to reach today’s consumers. In addition to running TPVG’s
award-winning interactive and A/V team and sharing oversight of all internal day-to-day operations, Sankey is also charged with helping to lead TPVG’s continuing expansions of its already sizable client base and range of services.
A graduate of the University of Reading, Sankey began his career at Leo Burnett Worldwide in London, and has continued to hone his career-long commitment by delivering consistently excellent, client-committed, strategic solutions to many of the entertainment’s industry’s leading advertising and branding agencies.
ABOUT BRIAN SETZER
Brian Setzer joined Trailer Park in 2004 in the title of Account Executive. He is passionate about working with clients to create marketing that breaks through, stands out and rises above. Setzer has helped to develop and oversee integrated campaigns with many of the major players in the videogame space, including such companies as Activision, Vivendi, Capcom, Konami, Sony, EA, Ubisoft, Turbine, D3, Disney, THQ, Aeria Games, Midway and Warner Bros. Interactive.
Setzer is fueled by his desire to ensure the delivery of the best work and service possible and the tenacity to figure out the most efficient ways to make it happen. With an in-house team of specialist, across Print, AV, Online, Strategy and Branding, he is consistently inspired by the creative environment at Trailer Park.
With an eclectic mix of interests, Setzer previously owned and operated a novelty product company, where he developed, marketed and sold gift items to major retail outlets, both domestically and abroad. He received his B.S. with a major in Finance from Santa Clara University and his Masters of European Business Affairs and Business Law degree from Lund University, Sweden.
