Andrew Gant directs David Beckham in a series of web videos for Haig Club whiskey
Brooklyn-based Tinygiant collaborates with Chinese Production Company Gwantsi and AKQA Shanghai to deliver a series of web videos for the Chinese market in which Beckham talks about the meaning of great taste and good life.
David Beckham, recently nominated “Sexiest Man Alive” by People Magazine, is the brand ambassador for Haig Club whiskey, one of the oldest distilling dynasties, with over 400 years of history and tradition.
Andrew Gant had the chance to sit down with David Beckham and discuss what’s important in the life of the uber-celebrity. The former soccer champion, now entrepreneur and businessman, gives simple and insightful answers as to what made him the man he is today: passion, hard work, family and a taste for beauty and adventure. David Beckham’s message aims to make Haig Club the whiskey of choice for movers and shakers around the world and create a new culture redefining the taste of the modern Chinese man.
With its sexy, dark look, the teaser for the digital campaign by AKQA will be followed by several clips that will live on Chinese social media.

About Tinygiant
Brooklyn-based Tinygiant (www.tinygiant.tv) is the brainchild of EP Veronica Diaferia, a young producer who learned the ropes at top production companies like Hungry Man and Moxie Pictures. Witnessing the changes in production over the last decade and finding the traditional production approach no longer sustainable, she established Tinygiant.
Although Tinygiant only opened earlier this year, the nascent production company has already rewritten the rules of high-quality, non-union production on the East Coast. It has distinguished itself with several digital videos and broadcast spots for clients such as Army, Optum, Florida Hospital, Trojan, World Youth Alliance and a viral Tide To Go spec spot.
