The principals of Thornberg & Forester (T&F) are proud to reintroduce themselves and their bicoastal production company, which will soon begin its seventh year in business. Today, together with their colleagues in New York and Los Angeles, the company's founders Elizabeth Kiehner, Scott Matz and Justin Meredith are unveiling their new logo mark, corporate identity and website.
"T&F's new identity represents a dynamic evolution of the company. We are shifting our company model to showcase the directors behind the work that we do," Matz said. "Equally important to us is the process of 'how' we work. Fastidious about quality and creative integrity, our directors are trusted creative leaders that foster true collaboration."
"The depth and breadth of our brand story and our creative capabilities have grown so rich, this rebrand is an exciting next step for us," added Kiehner. "As creative problem solvers, we are now positioning ourselves as leaders and as a resource for both concepting and production."
Reflecting this new emphasis, a Directors section prominently appears on the new website, allowing visitors to view bios and the latest works from T&F's roster directors Matz, Meredith, Kyle Hurley and Kyle Miller – and 2013 additions Michael Darmanin and the directing team of Santa Maria.
"To realize a highly designed product requires expert navigation between live-action, photography, animation and VFX," said Meredith. "We're proud to have a roster of directors who share this unique skillset," said Meredith, who also addressed the goals of the new corporate logo. "As we continue to evolve, we noticed the world was inundated by uses of the beautiful ampersand. It served us well, but it became time to create a symbol of our own that speaks to our love of Swiss design."
The new logo was created by Meredith and Matz, while the design of the website and corporate identity was helmed by the partners and meticulously crafted by T&F designer Morgan Goldberg. The website was also mostly developed in-house by Goldberg with unwavering support from T&F producer Kelsey Thomson. Rey and General Assembly provided final coding and additional support.
