Not Impossible
Today, Nominet Trust proudly announced that Not Impossible's award-winning Project Daniel: 3D Printing Prosthetic Arms for Children of War-torn Sudan has been named among the 2014
One year ago today, Daniel Omar – a 16-year old boy of Sudan’s war-ravaged Nuba Mountains – used a 3D-printed arm to feed himself. Having lost both arms at age 14 when a bomb was dropped on this civilian territory, Daniel had considered his life not worth living.
The event, presented by Matt Lauer of NBC’s Today Show, hosted a sold-out and star-studded audience that was inspired by the greatness of the honorees, whose work has benefitted the lives of individuals and communities around the world.
Not Impossible announced that its work on Project Daniel has been awarded multiple Cannes Lions including a Titanium Lion Award and four other Cannes Lions plus being shortlisted for Innovation.
