Blackmagic Design today announced that DaVinci Resolve was used to grade some of the summer’s most anticipated films. Post houses around the globe rely on DaVinci Resolve to help them deliver outstanding results, including Company 3 and Color Collective.
Company 3, a Deluxe Creative Services company with facilities throughout the globe, used DaVinci Resolve for several major summer releases, including "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" graded by Shane Harris and "X-Men: Days of Future Past" graded by Stephen Nakamura.
Color Collective, a New York City based post production studio, handled color for a variety of Sundance favorites and indie hits set to be released this summer. Colorist Alex Bickel was responsible for grading “Land Ho!,” “Night Moves” and “Ping Pong Summer.”
As the world’s most advanced color correction tool, DaVinci Resolve is the standard for high end post production workflows and continues to be the most popular and powerful color correction tool for the world’s biggest films, television programs and global commercial campaigns.
