Company Continues To Expand And Attract Top Industry Talent
SpotGenie Partners, LLC (seespotgenie.com), a leading provider of digital media services to the advertising, entertainment and broadcast industries, has appointed Larry Fox to the newly created position of VP/Director of Creative Services, it was announced today by company President/CEO Wayne Dykes.
In his new role Fox will be responsible for overseeing the development of all advertising, marketing and communication tools including direct mail, Internet, B To B advertising, videos and event marketing. In addition, he will be partnering with the existing marketing and creative resources working with SpotGenie to achieve the necessary advertising and marketing resources required for promoting the company in the marketplace. Fox will work closely with, and report directly to, Wayne Dykes.

Larry is exceptionally skilled and his depth of experience and leadership abilities will serve us well. As a former Coke advertising exec, large agency executive producer and production company owner, he has seen this business from every imaginable inside angle,” explained Dykes.
On joining the SpotGenie family Fox added, “I’ve worked with Wayne in the Atlanta advertising market for the past 20 years. Whether at The Coca-Cola Company or BBDO he was the source I turned to on numerous occasions for insuring my projects’ success. I was very interested in his latest venture, SpotGenie, when it first launched in 2002. Over the years I kept up with the great progress the company has made. Much to my pleasure, Wayne contacted me recently to see if I wanted to come on board as VP, Dir. of Creative Services …Hell, yes, who wouldn’t want to be on board a rising star like SpotGenie. Needless to say I’m thrilled to be part of the team!”
Larry Fox is a unique talent who has honed his strategic, creative and production skills in a number of high visibility corporate, agency and production positions.
Before joining SpotGenie, he spent two and a half years as head of Creative/Production Management (a firm he originally established and ran from 1998 through 2002) specializing in multimedia marketing execution, creative services and project management for a variety of clients including Grizzard Communications and JWT Atlanta, among others.
As VP/Director of Broadcast and Digital Production Services (2007 to 2010) at BBDO (Atlanta, GA), , he supervised a production team of broadcast, digital and freelance project managers, oversaw the trafficking group as well as business, talent and traffic managers, plus the company’s in-house audio/editorial facility
Fox spent a year (2006-2007) at Ambrosi-Atlanta (Lithia Springs, GA) as Senior Print Producer overseeing the execution of all mass circular print photography and signage for The Home Depot account
As Broadcast Production Manager at Action Integrated Marketing (Norcross, GA) (2003 to 2006) he managed and supervised the execution of TV/radio commercials and corporate videos for automotive advertisers and established the firm’s in-house edit suite.
Fox spent eight years (1990 through 1998) developing his marketing, advertising and production muscles at The Coca-Cola Company, Global Marketing Division (Atlanta, GA), entering the ranks as Executive Producer/Production Manager, and being promoted numerous times, first to Global Executive Producer, then to Advertising Manager, Manager Worldwide Production Services and finally to Director of Advertising Services managing broadcast production managers, print producers, graphic designers, and freelance editors and production artists. He was also an integral part of developing and overseeing the company’s trafficking process.

“Ǝvolution” Comes Full Circle At The Chelsea Film Festival
The Chelsea Film Festival, running from October 16th through October 20th, 2024, at Regal Cinemas here in Union Square, is set to host the East Coast premiere of Ǝvolution, a thought-provoking experimental micro-short film that proves big ideas can come in small packages and in perfect circles.
In just 1 minute 16 seconds, this cinematic gem by Award-Winning Director Romina Schwedler, with original music by Argentine Composer Ignacio Montoya Carlotto, explores a cycle as old as time: life leads to progress, progress leads to destruction, and destruction, well, leads back to life. But is this vicious circle unbreakable? Ǝvolution suggests the answer is yes, unless we decide to open our eyes.
Inspired by the overwhelming number of recent events that threaten human existence, Ǝvolution, possibly the shortest film in this 12th edition of the festival, plays out entirely through the symbolism of circles, cleverly illustrating —in the blink of an eye— the repeating patterns of history, and confronting viewers with the uncomfortable truth that our so-called “progress” may, in fact, be guiding us to our own ruin.Premiering at the Regal 14 Union Square, New York City, on October 18, 2024, at 11 a.m., Romina Schwedler's micro-short, featuring Leah Young with cinematography by Alan J.
