During that time, he was an exclusive Sound Mixer for Showtime Networks, while also mixing for Comedy Central, the Food Network, Nickelodeon, the USA Network and the SciFi Channel. ABOUT “DESTINATION TRUTH:”
For the new season of “Destination Truth,” SonicPool will be providing mixing and online services for, and renting one of their state-of-the-art edit suites, to Ping Pong Productions, Inc., producers of that series. “Destination Truth,” hosted by Josh Gates, takes viewers across the globe in search of answers. Every week, Gates visits a different locale where he interviews witnesses in an attempt to get to the truth regarding some of the world’s most notorious supernatural mysteries.
Brad Kuhlman, Executive Producer of “Destination Truth” and president of Ping Pong Productions, said, “I’ve produced a lot of reality shows over the years, and each of them has had an extremely complicated audio scenario associated with it. ‘Destination Truth’ for the Sci Fi Channel is certainly no exception. Traveling around the world (these are not exactly production friendly locations) hunting for evidence of crypto-zoological beasts can sometimes present our production team with less than perfect audio. But the guys at SonicPool somehow make it all sound so good you’d never know about our troubles in the field. I always love going to a final mix session with the SonicPool guys, because not only does the mix sound amazing, but they always take the time to pepper in a host of great original sound effects that give my shows just a little
extra kick. These guys take a lot of pride in delivering a great sounding show, each and every time.”
