Longtime Sonic Union, NY employee Justine Cortale has been promoted to Studio Manager and has been named an Associate Director of the company. Cortale was the sole Scheduler when Sonic Union opened its doors in November 2008, hailing from Buzz, where she joined in 2007. Prior to Buzz, Cortale was a Scheduler for Technicolor, NY.
Working closely with Cortale are Carly Lagoda, Scheduler; Rebecca Smialek, Producer; and Kristine Cabanban. Hospitality & Accounts .

Cortale grew up in Staten Island and currently lives in Brooklyn. After graduating from SUNY Oneonta in Speech Communications, she went on to work as a Production Assistant for EUE Screengems, followed by stints at Technicolor and Buzz as a Scheduler.
Sonic Union currently employs a staff of 18 for its audio, voice casting and design/animation/vfx arenas, growing from 12 when the business opened three years ago.
