The SoBe Life Water lizards bring their Thrillicious movement back to the dance floor this summer, with a highly-anticipated follow-up to one of the Super Bowl’s most popular ads. The rhythmic reptiles will team-up with supermodel Naomi Campbell in a new television spot themed to the classic hit, “Black Magic Woman.”
Set to debut nationwide on July 15th , the new 30 second spot marks the introduction of a trio of delicious new SoBe Life Water flavors – Agave Lemonade, Yuzu Black Currant and Goji Melon – all making their initial splash in July.

The new commercial was created and directed by brand architect Peter Arnell and features Campbell in a custom-made silver swimsuit and sky-high Christian Louboutin heels. “This will be the summer of the SoBe Lizards,” said Arnell, CEO of The Arnell Group, who conceptualized bringing the irresistible creatures to life. “The Thrillicious lifestyle is all about being hydrated without sacrificing cool.” The flashy new ad also includes styling direction by fashion icon André Leon Talley.
The original Super Bowl spot set to the song “Thriller” and featuring Campbell , along with the dancing SoBe Lizards, was viewed online over 5 million times in just two weeks. The YouTube community made Thrillicious its most viewed Super Bowl spot, with more than 1 million views alone.
