Getting just the right clip for its clients has always been a priority for <a href="<a href="(http://www.silvermanstockfootage.com)“>(http://www.silvermanstockfootage.com).>Silverman Stock Footage (<a href="(http://www.silvermanstockfootage.com)“>(http://www.silvermanstockfootage.com)., and they continue to excel at the task, with the national stock footage provider recently contributing important footage to several agency campaigns and productions worldwide. Among a host of high-profile commercials and agency projects, Silverman recently provided just the right stock footage to the following:
Winding Roads for Honda and Rubin Postaer & Associates
For Honda Motor Car Company (Bravo), Los Angeles agency Rubin Postaer & Associates came to Silverman Stock with an unusual and creative request: for classic “car running” footage — without the car! In response, Silverman provided some striking and beautiful HD footage of empty roads, scenic curves, and more — footage typically incorporating the common elements of a ‘hero car’ in motion on a road, but this time, without the car. With gorgeous and unique footage of empty roads in motion throughout the Southwestern United States, including such breathtaking locations as Monument Valley, Mt. Shasta, Big Sur, and more, Silverman Stock came through with unforgettable footage of some of the loveliest roads a driver could wish for, and the resulting images help to propel a haunting commercial in which less is truly more, as Honda reminds viewers, “The Road is Waiting.” The spot began running on April 1, 2009 on the Honda website.
Fast Cats for AT&T and Sanders Wingo
Part of the fun of the business of stock footage is that you never know what the next request will be — as with Sanders Wingo’s request on behalf of AT&T. For a :30 spot on track and field superstar Sanya Richards, the Austin, Texas agency needed cartoon footage involving a character racing around (for playback use in the spot on the TV), and as a clever subtext to the world-renowned racer’s sport. Silverman Stock provided the perfect clip for the spot, with cute, colorful and fast-paced cartoon footage of a cat zooming around a pole and into a dresser. The spot is airing nationally now.
Monkey Business for Saska/SPORTKA
It’s the rare company that actually gets to do “monkey business,” but such was the case for Silverman Stock, in fulfilling a request for Saska/SPORTKA, a Czech Republic company who wanted footage of unique animals with funny faces for a :30 Lotto Jackpot spot to air nationally. Silverman came up with charming and humorous footage of a crazy-eyed chameleon and a sleepy monkey in response that proved to be the perfect fit (the best part of the monkey’s spot comes at the end of the commercial, when the monkey appears to finally awaken and pay attention when the information about the Lotto Jackpot comes up). The resulting spot will air in the Czech Republic through Fall 2009.
Finding the Perfect Catch for McDonald’s and Moroch Advertising
For a recent McDonald’s spot for Michigan viewers that humorously pays tribute to the state’s passions (hockey, cars, ice fishing, hockey, much more), Dallas’s Moroch Advertising came to Silverman Stock to acquire footage of two men holding the “Catch of the Day.” The resulting :30 second spot is running now throughout the state of Michigan.
