Sundance Film Festival Report
Directors share backstories on their films that are slated for debut at Sundance, and the key collaborators who helped to bring this work to fruition. Among the filmmakers we connect with is:
>Director Asif Kapadia, whose documentary "Senna" won the Sundance Audience Award in 2011, now returns to the festival with a narrative feature, "Ali & Nino."
>Director Jeff Feuerzeig, who won a Sundance Directing Award for "The Devil and Daniel Johnston" in 2005, comes back to the festival with "Author: The JT LeRoy Story," one of 16 world premieres selected for the U.S. Documentary Competition.
>Director Jim Hosking, who debuted his short film "Renegades" at Sundance in 2010, is now back at the fest with his first feature, "The Greasy Strangler," which premieres as part of the Midnight Section program.
