With the Emmy® Season kicking off, SHOOT® is launching its season coverage with a special "Road to Emmy" preview feature on May 5th with Part 1 of the annual 16-Part "Road to Emmy" Series on May 12. The "Road to Emmy" Series shines a spotlight on producers, directors, documentarians, cinematographers, editors, production designers, visual effects & animation artisans, composers, sound designers and other artisans – each feature explores the backstories, creative challenges and collaborative relationships experienced by notable artisans generating Emmy buzz prior to nominations. Once nominations are announced the remainder of the Series focuses on nominees.
Each "Road to Emmy" installment will be published on SHOOTonline.com (50,000+ unique visitors) with links to each article going out in the same day's SHOOT Dailies email newsletter and that Friday's SHOOT>e.dition email newsletter (22,000 opt-in subscribers). Part 6 of the series will also appear in the June/July All Digital & PDF Issue and Part 13 will also appear in the August/September Print & PDF Issues. Emmy nominations coverage will be published on SHOOTonline.com on July 12 and season coverage will conclude with coverage of the Creative Arts Winners (Sept. 9-10), and Primetime Winners coverage (Sept. 18).
