Highly Anticipated Documentary "The Principle" Opens in Chicago with Multiple Sold-Out Screenings
Enthusiastic crowds prompt additional openings in Chicago, Los Angeles and other key markets.

The controversial and compelling documentary THE PRINCIPLE opened exclusively in Chicago last weekend to sold out crowds and rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. According to BoxOfficeMojo.com, THE PRINCIPLE achieved the highest per-screen average for a film opening on one screen, and ranked number four in per-screen average overall. The film, which explores the significance of the earth’s place in the cosmos, will now expand into additional theaters in Chicago, as well as key markets such as Los Angeles.

THE PRINCIPLE is destined to become one of the most controversial films of our time, as it brings before the public eye surprising results from recent large-scale surveys of our universe - surveys which disclose unexpected evidence of a preferred direction in the cosmos, aligned with our supposedly insignificant Earth.
THE PRINCIPLE features narration by Kate Mulgrew (Star Trek Voyager, Orange Is The New Black and Ryan’s Hope), visual animations by BUF Compagnie Paris (LIFE OF PI, THOR, THE MATRIX: REVOLUTIONS, VAN HELSING, HARRY POTTER), and commentary from prominent scientists including George Ellis, Michio Kaku, Julian Barbour, Lawrence Krauss, and Max Tegmark.
