SGO UK is pleased to announce that new partner, UK Specialist Digital Film Consultancy, Light Illusion with the launch of a new consultancy operation in India, will be providing technical and creative support for SGO’s Mistika post and DI finishing system in the Indian market place.

‘Light Illusion India’ will provide technological, logistical and creative assistance to Digital Film operations throughout the Indian film industry, and is being set-up in partnership with Sundeep Reddy, who has been working alongside Light Illusion’s CEO Steve Shaw at Gemini DI, Chennai, for the past year. With a wealth of experience in the Film and Digital industries Sundeep will spearhead Light Illusion India, aiming to extend Light Illusion’s world-renowned technical and creative Digital Film support to existing and up-coming Indian film post and production operations. The focus will be on building high-end DI facilities with State of the Art technology and workflows, combined with the best creative capabilities. The consultancy operation will include a focus on the growing 3D stereoscopic market, in which Light Illusion already has considerable experience.
Sundeep Reddy comes from a well known and respected Indian film family, with Sundeep already having a wide range of feature film DoP Credits to his name, and follows on from his father, S. Gopal Reddy, a DoP with over 30 years experience and over 110 features to his credit, as well as twice Filmfare award winner. Sundeep has spent the past year immersing himself in the art of Digital Intermediate operations, as well as introducing the Arri D-21 to Indian cinematographers.
