David Matlin, New York-based vice president of legal affairs for Scripps Networks‘ HGTV, has been selected as the winner of Counsel of the Year Award in the “Excellence in Branded Entertainment” category by the Association of Media and Entertainment Counsel.
AMEC is the leading trade association serving general counsel and business affairs attorneys at media and entertainment companies. The honor was announced at the Association of Media and Entertainment Counsel’s fourth annual Counsel of the Year Awards at the Hollywood House of Blues.
