The Cannes Film Festival is the world’s premier showcase for independent and international filmmakers.

“La vie d’Adéle” (2012), drama directed by Abdellatf Kechiche. 15-year-old Adèle dreams of finding the love of her life. When she meets Thomas – a dark, handsome, friendly stranger who falls for her instantly – her dream seems to have come true. But an unsettling erotic reverie upsets the romance before it begins. “The Bling Ring” (2013), feature film directed by Sofia Coppola. Inspired by actual events, a group of fame-obsessed teenagers use the Internet to track celebrities’ whereabouts in order to rob their homes.

“Wakolda” (2013), feature film directed by Lucia Puenzo. The true story of an Argentine family who lived with Josef Mengele without knowing his true identity, and of a girl who fell in love with one of the biggest criminals of all times. “Les Salauds” (2012), drama-thriller, directed by Claire Denis. Marco is determined to exact a terrible vengeance for the violence done to his family.
