Bilingual production company Rio Bravo Pictures recently launched its new website,<a href="www.riobravopictures.com.> riobravopictures.com, showcasing its English/Spanish bilingual commercial reel.
Rio Bravo Pictures specializes in creating commercial work for both the English and Spanish speaking markets. Commercial Director and owner of Rio Bravo Pictures, Rodrigo Rodriguez, sees the bilingual market as still changing and relatively new. “A lot of companies are going into the Spanish speaking market for the first time, and we want to make sure that the same care they’ve put into their English campaigns goes into their Spanish-speaking spots”, says Rodriguez.
The new website focuses the message on Rio Bravo Pictures’ demo reel with a clean and simple user interface. The website includes extensive English/Spanish spots for clients such as American Cancer Society, Rent-A-Center, and Surplus Warehouse, The site also showcases spots for clients including ESPN, Long John Silvers, and Uniroyal Tires. “People tend to think that Hispanic spots mean only Spanish language spots. We can produce – in one campaign โ spots for the General, Hispanic English, and Hispanic Spanish-speaking markets while keeping the message consistent and culturally relevant”, adds Rodriguez.
The full-service production company is headquartered on the U.S./Mexico border city of McAllen, Texas. “Our team lives the culture everyday. We are first-generation, third generation; We speak in English and dream in Spanish. We are our own intended demographic!” exclaims Rodriguez. Named one of the “nation’s fastest growing areas” by the U.S. Census, McAllen is at the epicenter of a flourishing international trade and booming Hispanic community โ the perfect backdrop for Rio Bravo Pictures.
“We recognize that Hispanics live both the mainstream American culture mixed with their own cultural values. The key to this market is not the mastery of the Spanish language, but rather touching a nerve with people living the Hispanic experience no matter the language”, states Rodriguez.
