This year, Red Truck Films has produced three :30 television spots for the North Carolina Education Lottery’s latest scratch-off games.
The spot, “They’re Coming,” directed by New York-based director Joe Leih, features Game Show Gary in a souped-up Mustang atop a car transporter semi truck. The spot announces the “Mustang Fever” scratch-off game, which will award six fully-loaded 2010 Ford Mustang V6 convertibles. The commercial begins airing in September. Game Show Gary, showing off his stellar poker face, appears again in a spot announcing the “World Series of Poker” instant scratch-off game. Payouts include a top cash prize of $75,000 or a chance to win a seat at the 2010 WSOP Main Event Tournament. The “World Series of Poker” was directed by Garye Costner of Red Truck Films. Different in concept and style, the third spot promoted the N.C. Lottery’s “$500,000 Jackpot” scratch-off game. Directed by Red Truck’s Leih, the spot presents the “Lottery Win-Team” on red alert to dispense cash prizes of a half million dollars. It features big check writers on stand-by to pay out prizes and a team investigating the winning effects of $500,000. View spot: http://www.redtruckfilms.com/blogmovies/winteam.mov.
Red Truck Films’ Cathy Wilson was executive producer for all three spots, working with agency Wray Ward. Blazing Music+Sound provided audio for the spots, and Serious Robots handled post production.
