RED Digital Cinema is returning to the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show in Las Vegas from April 13th–16th. Located at Booth #SL1517, RED will be showcasing the performance and versatility of the 6K RED DRAGON® sensor, as well as the latest product innovations and technologies.
Attendees at NAB will be the first to see the highly anticipated RED WEAPON—the latest digital camera to be added to the DRAGON sensor family. Boasting amazing color science and dynamic range of the 19 megapixel RED DRAGON sensor, RED WEAPON continues to reinforce that whether you are a photographer, cinematographer, or broadcaster—RED has one camera for every shoot. While details will be revealed during the event, RED maintains that RED WEAPON will adhere to the company’s dedication to “Obsolescence Obsolete”—a core operating principle that allows current RED owners to upgrade their technology as innovations are unveiled.
The NAB booth will have live demonstrations throughout the event to showcase RED’s intuitive workflow. Visitors will get a behind the scenes look at RED’s customizable Broadcast Solutions—offering a live 4K signal while capturing 6K R3D masters—as well as dedicated stills-from-motion workflow demonstrations.
For those unable to attend the event in Las Vegas select worldwide locations will give visitors the ability to experience the event as if they were there. NextVR will be supporting a live virtual reality experience of RED’s NAB booth using the latest technology. Situated at RED’s flagship Los Angeles and New York stores—as well as RED’s United Kingdom, Germany, India, and China offices—global customers will be able to experience an NAB that cannot be missed.
About RED Digital Cinema
In 2006, RED Digital Cinema began a revolution with the 4K RED ONE® digital camera. By 2008, the camera that changed cinema also began to change the world of stills. The same camera being used to shoot features like "The Hobbit" trilogy and "Gone Girl" - as well as the Emmy-winning "House of Cards" - was being used to shoot covers for magazines such as "Vogue". In 2014, RED began providing a broadcast solution allowing streaming, live 4K while recording 6K R3D masters. Visit WWW.RED.COM for more information.
