PromaxBDA, the leading global association for marketing, promotion and design professionals in the entertainment industry, today announced that Joe Earley, President, Marketing and Communications, for the Fox Broadcasting Company, has been elected to serve as Co-Chairman of the PromaxBDA Board of Directors. The announcement was made today at PromaxBDA: The Conference 2012 in Los Angeles.

PromaxBDA Board Co-Chairs, Gregorian and Earley will lead the Board of Directors, the governing body of PromaxBDA that oversees the annual budget, strategic planning of conferences, awards and year-round member services, and the development of long-term goals and organizational direction.

As President, Marketing and Communications, for the Fox Broadcasting Company, Joe Earley is responsible for all FOX marketing functions, including on-air and off-air promotion and advertising, national media, national promotions, content production and affiliate marketing. He also oversees all aspects of entertainment publicity, corporate communications and talent relations, as well as creative services, the company’s internal corporate marketing, promotion and special projects arm.
Mr. Earley was formerly the Executive Vice President of Marketing & Communications and has also held roles at FOX as Executive Vice President of Publicity, Corporate Communications and Creative Services; Senior Vice President, Publicity and Corporate Communications; and Vice President, Entertainment Publicity. He also spent several years as Director of Publicity after joining the network in 1994 as a Senior Publicist.
Before joining FOX, Mr. Earley spent several years in Media Relations at HBO. He began his entertainment career in production and development with producer Gale Anne Hurd.
In 2008, Broadcasting & Cable magazine honored Mr. Earley with the prestigious Brand Builders Award, and he was named to the PromaxBDA Board of Directors.
