Postique recently completed telecine, graphics, finishing and audio post services on more than twenty national commercials for Ford’s ‘Swap Your Ride’ campaign on behalf of Team Detroit. Postique is a division of Grace & Wild, Inc.
The 2010 SYR campaign is a new twist on the original, which was a marketing success for Ford in 2007. Ford randomly selected real competitive owners in California and Texas, and had them test drive a Ford for one week. At the end of the week, the participants discussed their experiences with Mike Rowe, Ford spokesman and host of the Discovery Channel’s “Dirty Jobs.”
Nonfiction Films of Santa Monica, California served as the production company, based on their previous collaboration with Team Detroit on the 2007 ‘Swap Your Ride’ and 2008′ ‘Town to Town, Friend to Friend’ campaigns. Nonfiction captured high definition video of 31 participants in Northern California and Dallas, Texas over the course of several weeks. Upon returning to Detroit, Team Detroit called upon Postique to provide telecine, graphics, finishing and audio post services for nineteen :30 and eight :15 commercials. “Having the same post production team on a succession of similar campaigns is a great thing. We have a huge volume of work with challenging deadlines, and Postique always delivers.” noted Team Detroit’s Mike Priebe.
Postique contributors included director of telecine Eric Maurer, senior colorist John Cathel, associate colorist Chuck Klatt and telecine producer Mike Diegel; executive creative director Lori Woods and graphics assistant Nicole Finateri; senior editor Larry Puskar and assistant editor Nancy Hodges; and senior audio engineer Steve Serraiocco and audio assistants Esther Nevarez.
Team Detroit contributors included producer Mike Olk, creative directors Mike Priebe and Todd Chumley, art director Mike Johnson, and writer Tiffany Moy-Miller.
