PLUSHnyc, boutique Post-Production Audio studio, announced today the signing of Senior Mixer and Sound Designer, Scott Persson to it’s growing roster of talent.
A true veteran of the music industry, Scott began his career touring through Europe as a drummer for his former band, Edge Park, playing along side bands like Radio Head, No Doubt, Bryan Adams and many more. When he returned to New York, he found a home amongst some of the top Audio Post-Production houses in the city; most recent of which was Scott’s nine years he spent with Sound Lounge.
While you can still find Scott jamming with his current cover band, Miss Suzy’s Opus, you’ll most likely find him at the studio along side his advertising clients including KBS+P, DDB, DigitasLBi, Publicis Kaplan Thaler and JWT to name a few.
In Scott’s own sentiments, “I've been very lucky to have worked in some of the finest studios in New York City and I'm thankful to have found a new home at Plush.” Never shy about his love for music, Scott adds, “I also continue to play and record as much music as I can.”

In addition to signing Persson to the roster, PLUSHnyc is happy to announce the promotion of Dana Villarreal to Director of Operations. “It is a well deserved and fitting promotion of a very valued member of the PLUSH team,” announced Founder and Partner, Mike Levesque.
