PLAY, a creative, television marketing house specializing in the creation of HD TV promos, TV trailers, launch campaigns, and sizzle reels, is the winner of a 2010 Promax/BDA Gold Award. The announcement was made today by Michael Victor, founder, PLAY.
PLAY won the Promax Gold in the category of “Best On-Screen Services Promotion (VOD, PPV, etc.)” for its writing, editorial, and graphics work on a promotional spot called “FEARnet Barker.” Fear is the focus of the spot, centering around the on-demand channel, FEARnet’s, monthly movie lineup for this past October. PLAY’s goal was to drive home FEARnet as the “premiere place for fear,” through the spot’s cinematic look, experimental graphic design, and by taunting the audience with the question “FEARnet – Can You Face It?”
