The One Club announced today that it is forming a partnership with the ADCOLOR® Coalition to award the first-ever One Club/ADCOLOR® Creative Award honoring a creative professional of multi-cultural background for outstanding achievements in the advertising industry. The One Club/ADCOLOR® Creative Award will be presented at the 2009 ADCOLOR® Awards ceremony on October 4th, at the Biltmore Resort in Phoenix, Arizona.
The nominees for the award will be selected by The One Club Board of Directors and will be based on the individual’s professional achievement in creative advertising, including design and new media. Consideration will also be given to the nominees’ contributions throughout his or her career in giving back to the industry to develop young talent.

Established in 2008, The One Club|Adversity program’s mission is to bridge the gap between academia and the advertising industry by offering interactive programs that provide collegiate and college bound multi-cultural students with career information, hands-on experience and the resources necessary to pursue a creative career.
