Headquartered in Nashville, TN, Hummingbird is renown for its talent and collaboration with artists and producers including: Grammy® Award-winning producer/songwriter Keith Thomas; Byron House, bass player for Robert Plant’s “Band of Joy”; Dennis Holt, session drummer on Taylor Swift’s “Beautiful Eyes” EP; Swan Dive vocalist Molly Felder, whose commercial credits include national advertisers Pepsi, Michelob, and Chevrolet; as well as many others.
Touting the slogan “Hearing is Believing,” Hummingbird Productions became industry recognized for its Clio Hall of Fame Award winning work on the “Budweiser Frogs” TV commercial in 1995. Among the recent, national clients for which Hummingbird Productions has produced music and sound design are:
• Prilosec OTC: Working with New York-based ad agency Publicis Kaplan Thaler, Hummingbird created and produced music for a new TV spot titled “Picnic” starring Larry the Cable Guy. Hummingbird’s music supports his rowdy antics and helps “drive” the blue collar nature of the commercial. Please click here to see and hear Prilosec spot.
• Chili’s: For a special Chili’s Restaurant promotion entitled “Chili’s Free One Million Flatbread Giveaway,” Hummingbird wrote and produced music to enhance this campaign. The music was specifically written and inspired by the Motown genre and features an upbeat horn section. Please click here to see and hear Chili’s spot.
• Brillo: Brillo recently celebrated its 100th anniversary with a campaign featuring original, ’60s style rock music by Hummingbird Productions. The track includes vocals by legendary Nashville Motown singer Scat Springs. Entitled “Brillo It Off,” the spot highlights the American made Brillo estracell sponge product.
