Mob Scene, one of Hollywood’s leading entertainment marketing agencies for major motion picture studios, television networks, and streaming channels, has acquired the award-winning Social/Digital Team that had previously been housed within Ammo Creative – a marketing agency that recently shuttered. Mob Scene’s new Social/Digital Team is comprised of strategists, creatives, and producers who specialize in digital marketing strategy, social creative, social trailers, media and display, community management, influencer programs, emerging tech activations, and more.
The newly acquired Mob Scene team will be led by George Peรฑa, SVP of Social/Digital, and Kyle Parsons, Vice President, Social/Digital & Strategy. In addition to leading campaign strategies for upcoming Mob Scene client campaigns, Parsons will also be leading the overarching company strategy to enhance and expand Mob Scene’s legacy businesses and offerings as well as establishing 360 campaign opportunities. Peรฑa will be overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Social/Digital group and will also act as senior producer on projects.
While employed by Ammo Creative, the Team spearheaded recent notable campaigns, including those for Top Gun: Maverick (Paramount+,) Prey (Hulu,) and Jurassic World: Dominion (Universal Pictures). The team’s successful trajectory has been consistently on the rise, having won nearly a dozen awards in the arena of Social/Digital during 2022. These honors include: Clio Entertainment “Grand” and “Gold” Awards for Cruella (The Walt Disney Studios,) and the “Golden Trailer Award” for Best Viral Campaign for Free Guy (The Walt Disney Studios.)
Regarding the acquisition, Tom Grane, CEO/Founder of Mob Scene, said, “We are thrilled to have acquired this incredibly talented team! With them now in-house, we have combined our resources to create something bigger and truly unique for our clients. Our new Team’s secret sauce, in collaboration with our long-established, close access to filmmakers and talent on set, will certainly create unique new synergy opportunities for our studio and streaming clients. Our acquisition of this team brings with it synergies and efficiencies because the two entities have worked on many of the same major film titles, including Avatar: The Way of Water, Jurassic World: Dominion, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, and others.”
Adds Mitchell Rubinstein, Mob Scene’s COO, “Our further expansion into the arenas of Social/Digital and Strategy comes at a time when we are seeking to further develop and enhance our business and service offerings. We can now broaden our capabilities to offer high quality creative solutions throughout the lifecycle of each of our client’s upcoming films, shows and brand projects.”
Kyle Parsons said, “We are humbled and excited to join such a welcoming and collaborative group of producers and creatives that truly understand the value in keeping our team intact. Mob Scene provides the ability to foster what we’ve built, while also providing exponential resources and capabilities to enhance our campaigns and better serve our new and existing clients.”
“With the addition of this new Social/Digital Team, we are paving the way for Mob Scene’s expansion into other business sectors that are on our radar for future growth, including new projects and campaigns within the experiential marketing space, brand activations and more,” Rubinstein concluded.
