New content studio offering full-service production capabilities names Emmy Award-winning marketer Scott Bradfield as managing director
Independent integrated agency The Many has launched a new content studio offering that provides a complete suite of end-to-end production services and development, including original IP and branded entertainment. Emmy® Award-winning production and development executive Scott Bradfield has been named managing director of The Many Studios.
Bradfield was the senior vice president of Content at Red Bull Media House for 16 years, overseeing content production and pioneering action-sports documentaries. He led teams that earned numerous awards, including 12 Emmys, a Critics Choice, multiple Webby, Real Screen, Streamy, Cynopsis Sports, Powder, and Sun Valley Film Festival Audience awards.
The Many Studios is also pleased to announce the addition of two new hires who will report to Bradfield. Adam McGinnes has been appointed supervising producer, bringing to the role his experience as an executive producer at Red Bull Media House and MTV. Ayanna Hart joins as director of Studio Operations with nearly 30 years of production and post-production experience including partnerships with major studios like HBO, Netflix and NBC.
“The addition of Scott and his team has brought the agency full circle with The Many’s branded content roots. The agency’s founding DNA blends marketing, advertising and entertainment, with our first agency award wins being for branded TV shows for Red Bull and Hot Wheels on Fox Sports and ABC,” said Christian Jacobsen, CEO of The Many. “Our longer-form content history includes work for Mattel, NOS Energy Drink, and Snap Originals. Most recently, we created and produced with eBay Motors the award-winning episodic YouTube series Between 2 Rides and Modathon, with production of Season 2 for Between 2 Rides in the can.”
Jacobsen adds, “While brand campaigns are becoming increasingly rare, engaging storytelling is still core to what we do and essential to establishing a brand’s premise. That’s where Scott comes in. His expertise in creating, producing, distributing, and monetizing content can help brands get their message out in new ways. We’re thrilled to have him on board, and we know that he’ll help our clients tell the stories that will resonate with their audiences and drive results.”
Simian Gets An Evolutionary Boost For Collaboration, Reveals “Teams”
Simian, the showreel-building, review & approval, and production asset management platform used globally by creative leaders, is kicking off this fall season with a substantial leap forward for collaboration and project management – with more updates on the way during the holidays!
The new feature, aptly dubbed “Teams”, makes it easier than ever for users to give project responsibilities to team members and clients alike. “You can never have too many options when it comes to permission levels,” says Jay Brooks, Simian’s Chief Technology Officer. “Teams provides a streamlined way to assign multiple users to a project at once.”
“Teams are very powerful, but creating one is effortless,” Brian Atton, Simian’s Chief Operating Officer explains. “Simply enter a Team name, add members, and then apply the newly made Team to any desired project. You can even invite temporary guests without changing settings for other projects or needing to create a new Team.”
“We love helping our clients by providing efficient tools to improve their workflow, and this has been a frequently requested feature as of late,” shares Kellie Atton, Head of Sales at Simian. “It feels great to get Teams out into the wild because I know it’s going to be tremendously helpful to everyone who uses it”.
Teams is now available exclusively to Simian’s enterprise clients. Simian plans to release more product upgrades and enhancements during Q4 2024 and 2025 for enterprise and non-enterprise users, continuing its ongoing evolution as the industry’s leading production asset management solution.
