As part of its continued growth through 2010, 38 Greene Studios has changed its name to Verbatim Sound Studios, effective immediately.
Coinciding with the studios’ move from Greene Street in Soho to Midtown Manhattan earlier this year, the new identity also marks the company’s expansion to a staff of 5 full-time audio mixers and sound engineers and a full slate of audio work for radio advertisements, television, and digital projects as well.
<a href="www.verbatimstudios.com.>Verbatim Studios brought studio manager Jessica Rondash on board last winter, and added mixers Danny Artale and Conor Murphy to the growing team led by brothers Dan and Jim Price, owners of renowned creative boutique Oink Ink. Oink is a sister company to Verbatim and it shares the newly rehabbed space on West 46th Street, just off 5th Avenue.
With 3 state-of-the-art recording studios and 5.1 capabilities, Verbatim has been tapped by New York’s most creative agencies, advertisers, and clients. Shoot Online recently named the audio facility’s work for the World Cup a “Top 10 Spot Track,” and a spot in collaboration with MTV was honored with a “Best Ad on TV” nod from bestadsontv.com this September.
