Level 77 Music came up big at The Production Music Association’s 7th Annual Mark Awards, taking home the top honor for Pop Track of the Year. The winning song, “Be Mine”, is featured on the production music library’s album G.I.R.L. (Girls in Real Life) on its VIVE Music label. The song was written and produced by Shanell Woodgett, Anthony Arasi, Patrick Avard and Caleb Tillman. It is performed by vocalist Loren Schaffer.
The Mark Awards are recognized as the most prestigious awards competition in the production music industry. Winners were announced in a gala ceremony held in conjunction with the PMA’s annual Production Music Conference at the OMNI Hotel in Los Angeles.
Level 77 Music’s win is especially significant, as it comes less than a year after the library was launched. “Words can’t describe how proud I am of this accomplishment,” says founder and CEO Patrick Avard. “As a very young company, it’s a true honor to be recognized by our peers alongside the industry’s biggest names.”
Pop Track of the Year is among the Mark Awards’ most competitive categories, attracting submissions for the industry’s largest and best-known libraries. “Our creative team has been creating premium vocal music for many years,” notes Avard. “It’s exciting to have one of our songs chosen for the Mark Awards’ top honor and played on the industry’s biggest stage.”
