Leftchannel Creative Director Alberto Scirocco, returns to motion 2015 conference, the Ted talks of the motion design industry, which will be held June 12-14 at the Palace of the Governors in Santa Fe, NM. The theme of the 2015 conference is ‘imagination.’

This year marks the third year that Scirocco has played a prominent role at the popular creative design conference. In 2013, leftchannel crafted the show open and spoke each day of the conference about its concept, execution and challenges it presented. The open went on to be a finalist at the 2014 SXSW Titles Design Competition.  In 2014 Scirocco led discussion about how creativity is affected by things you are not aware of, and how to unlock the shackles of conformism and find new pathways to creativity.

Speaking on Sunday, June 14 starting at 10:37am, Scirocco will speak about the pros and cons of ‘the big idea’ and how the sure bet isn’t always the best bet. He will follow his talk with a Q&A featuring Motion founder Elaine Montoya, followed by a panel discussion with Chris Do of Blind and Mark Coleran from Samsung.

“Motion has become an important event in our industry thanks to its focus on the creative process, the structure of the sessions and the engaging environment it encourages,” Scirocco says. “I’m proud to be asked to participate again and I look forward to exchanging ideas with our peers.”
