Intermarket Agency Network, one of the nation’s top organizations of independent ad agencies elected David Gauger of Gauger + Associates, San Francisco, to lead the network. Gauger replaces Dick Hadley who heads Hadley Green Creates, one of Seattle, Washington’s leading agencies. The transition was announced this week at the semi-annual meeting in Boston, Massachusetts.
The meeting, which took place in Copley Place April 9-11, included a host of speakers and events. Douglas Wood of ReedSmith presented the latest on adlaw, Malcolm Faulds of BzzAgent offered new approaches to Word of Mouth Advertising and Bob Wiesner of Mirren Business Development shared insights on winning more new business pitches.
“The highlight of the meeting was the tour and presentation of case studies for Liberty Mutual and Dunkin’ Donuts at the new Hill Holliday offices,” according to Gauger. “It is an inspiring environment and to hear first hand from Mike Sheehan, Hill Holliday’s CEO, Karen Kaplan, their President and a half dozen of their top strategists and creatives was an exceptional treat.”
The network also announced its next meeting will take place in Denver, Colorado September 17-20, 2008. Speaker and tours are expected to be announced in May.
