The global e-commerce performance agency Labelium, which specializes in e-retail, media and consumer performance, has tapped two executives for leadership positions. Carlos Spallarossa has joined as VP of E-commerce. He will lead the development of e-commerce based service offerings spanning platforms and tech, UI/UX and digital best practices across all channels. Ihab Allam is Labelium's new Director, E-Retail Marketplaces. He will be an integral part of marketplace management in many key online retailers, including Amazon, Walmart, Overstock, Target and Wayfair.
With Spallarossa and Allam joining, Labelium now offers e-retail clients a comprehensive end-to-end solution for e-commerce and marketplace spaces, including UX, media, pricing, management of marketplaces, digital retailers and stakeholders. The new hires will be based out of Labelium's New York office and report directly to Chris Apostle, EVP of E-Retail & Marketplace.
"Adding Carlos and Ihab solidifies our capabilities in technology, data, owned assets, advertising marketplaces and customer relationship management," said Apostle. "Ihab brings with him a breadth of client experience as a digital marketing leader with a wealth of knowledge and experience pioneering digital e-commerce campaigns. Carlos' experience in client-side global enterprises makes him uniquely positioned to understand and respond to Labelium's clients' needs. Together they provide us with a complete rounded marketplace offering. They are very strategic hires for us and great guys to work with."
Previously Director of Search Marketing – SEO/SEM at L'Oreal, Spallarossa is a digital marketing and technology professional with 16+ years of digital experience. He has provided thought leadership in e-commerce and has led teams in search marketing (SEO/SEM), digital technology and marketing for well-known consumer brands such as L'Oreal Paris, Maybelline, Garnier, Lancôme, Kiehls, Essie, CeraVe, Skinceuticals, Toys "R" Us Babies "R" Us, and many others.
"I am incredibly excited to have this opportunity and to be a part of such a fantastic team," said Spallarossa. "My role will be helping expand and focus on the alignment of media, marketplace and direct consumer strategies. The goals and objectives that we've set for ourselves all flow into one common purpose – to become a strategic partner in the digital e-commerce transformation of the brands we serve."
Allam joins Labelium after more than a decade of working on the client-side of retail with Philips home appliances and Sony consumer electronics, and other consumer brands. He is a veteran brand strategist for existing products, engaging new/existing customers and uncovering new opportunities for business development and revenue growth.
