Kre8 Media, a leading DRTV, Digital Media, and Brand Advertising agency, has promoted longtime employee Stephen Pickens to the newly created position of Vice President, Partnership Development. The announcement was made today by T. Lee Cutler, Founder/CEO, Kre8 Media.

In his new position, Pickens, who had been the Director of Client Services and Business Development, will seek to introduce Kre8 Media's drive-to-web DRTV group to potential new advertiser clients eager to grow with an attentive and aggressive marketing partner by their side.

Regarding the promotion, Cutler said, "Stephen was our first hire, back when I launched this company from my garage apartment in 2009. In fact, I hired him right after he earned his Masters Degree in Integrated Marketing from Florida State University. Starting with, Stephen helped to develop our agency's specialty in attributing positive online response generated from TV campaigns. Fast-forward 6 years, we are now renovating and expanding our current office to accommodate a dramatic period of growth that began in 2013 and is projected to continue through the rest of this year and beyond. The sense of responsibility to our clients that has allowed us to grow as dramatically as we have thus far is due, in large measure, to Stephen's years of dedication, loyalty and hard work ethic."

Adds, Pickens, "When Lee launched Kre8 Media with just one client 6 years ago, we immediately had to develop an extremely effective culture to achieve success. With only one client, we could not afford any mistakes, as a loss of that client would spell certain doom for the new agency. So, we devoted every waking hour to ensuring that our first client had the best rates, stellar results, and frequent communication. Stephen Pickens was the first hire by T. Lee Cutler when he launched Kre8 Media in 2009. Originally Director of Client Services and Business Development, Pickens was promoted to the post of Vice President, Partnership Development in 2015. Upon first joining the company, Pickens managed TV and Digital Media buys for the company's first client, North America, growing that client's billings from $16 million to $40 million within three years. Under Pickens' direction, PokerStars was able to grow dramatically due to aggressive negotiation, strategic and creative deal making, and intelligent optimizations, all talents that have since been applied by Pickens to the growing roster of online brands he oversees.

Following his initial work on behalf of PokerStars, Pickens has since overseen the launches of a number of very successful advertising campaigns for an impressive array of eCommerce businesses. These clients have included zulily, QuiBids, Choxi (formerly nomorerack), Fiverr, BodyBuilding, Julep, Rover, TradeKing, Burial Planning, and DraftStreet.

In addition to his duties with client relations and developing new business, Pickens also authors the blog, a resource for CMOs, CEOs, Marketing Directors, and Acquisition Directors interested in using TV to fuel growth for their online businesses. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Auburn University, and a Master of Science Degree in Integrated Marketing and Management Communication from Florida State University.
