Knickerbocker Glory is proud to announce they have signed Directors Adam Patch and Victor Budnik. Adam Patch is an up-and-coming commercial and music video director. He brings a unique visual style to his story telling—fusing strong, cinematic images with a graphic, design-driven attention to detail. In his first year at the Academy of Art University, his short film “CU” swept the school’s film festival, winning ‘Best Digital Short Film’ and ‘Best in Show’, along with multiple online film festivals.
Even before graduating, Adam began working professionally as a freelance director, designer and animator on a wide range of projects. In 2007 he won a Northern California Emmy for ‘KRON 4 Weather’, a promo he directed and animated. Since graduating, Adam has transitioning even further into the director’s chair. His countless clients include PayPal, Hewlett-Packard, and Sprint, to name a few. He has also worked with Goodby, Silverstein & Partners as a Director, Designer, Editor and After-Effects Artist. In addition, Adam has directed several music videos, across a wide spectrum of genres.
Viktor Budnik is an award-winning photographer working primarily in the medium of food on the tabletop. Shooting graphics for over 20 years and directing TV commercials for the past 12, Viktor has developed a masterful eye and the utmost talent for making every dish look delectable. Viktor has had the pleasure of shooting dozens of cookbooks and hundreds of photographs for advertising campaigns which have appeared in countless magazines and editorial media. This work took him all over the world and led Viktor to his ultimate passion, directing food commercials and advertising content. Budnik’s background in architecture, interior design and art history, bring a blend of European finery and US spunk into his work. Juxtaposing richly colored backgrounds with rust, beauty and food, he romances the subject, crashing together simplicity and complexity, but never overwhelms the food. Viktor’s belief in food can be simplified in his words, “I shoot food because I love food.”
