Cutters Editorial continues its trend of hiring great talent with the recent addition of Kimberle Salter to its roster.
Salter began her impressive career when she graduated with degrees in English and film from Northwestern University. Having spent her early years in Chicago, Salter moved westward, where she spent a several years working in production at Planet Productions in Los Angeles. Shortly thereafter, Salter was testing her skills in editing and quickly discovered her passion behind the controls of an Avid. She spent a few more years working with Roger Harrison at Exit and Cutaways before joining Avenue in Santa Monica. Eventually, the draw of home was too great and Salter returned to Chicago where she worked with Avenue Edit and The Whitehouse before joining Cutters in December.
Kimberle Salter joins the Chicago office of Cutters, but according to Chicago EP Cindy Duffy, “all of Cutters’ editors are available to work anywhere they are needed.”
Salter joins the impressive team of editors: Christine Brown; Chris Claeys; John Dingfield; Ruth Efrati Epstein; Christopher Gotschall; Kathryn Hempel; Eric Houtz; Addison James; Mark Jepsen; Nadav Kurtz; Ryan McGuire; Lenny Mesina; Richard Mettler; Jessica Simmon; Steve Stein; and, Fernando Villena.
