Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), an international communications and information technology company, has named Joseph I. Lampert managing director of its Advertising Solutions Group (ASG), which provides Enterprise Agency Suite (EAS) and RepLine software systems used by advertising service companies for sales management, media buying, production and financial management. Based in New York, Lampert will be responsible for product development, sales, client services and support, and strategy and business development.
An expert in advertising industry business processes and the automation of supporting business controls, Lampert has been recognized for his broad strengths in operations and productivity improvement, new business development and key account management. Throughout his career, Lampert has been instrumental in helping move the industry to new business models, while enhancing operational and financial processes.

Lampert was previously vice president of business development for MediaBank, where he played an instrumental role in the expansion and development of the company’s Internet-based solution for advertising and marketing services firms. Prior to that, Lampert owned OK Systems, a consulting company that assisted major advertising agencies in the development of new processes and tools, crafting market and product strategies to align with the changing needs of the advertising market. Through OK Systems, Lampert provided strategic consulting services to some of the advertising industry’s foremost players, including MediaPort, an Omnicom, IPG and WPP-owned e-business consortium. Earlier in his career, Lampert spent eleven years as vice president of client services for Donovan Data Systems, a leading systems and software provider to the advertising industry.

Lampert holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, and is a member of the Television Advertising, Agency Relations and Advertising Financial Management Committees of the Association of National Advertisers (ANA).
