Mobius Awards has opened its 2010 competition with expanded opportunities for photographers. The independent, international competition is celebrating its 40th year.
Mobius Awards accepts professional and student entries in Brochure/Book, Cinema/In-flight, Direct, Mixed Media / Integrated Campaign, New Media, Online, Outdoor, Package Design and Redesign, Photography, Point-of-Purchase, Print, Radio and Television. Speculative work may also be entered. The deadline is October 1.
Photographers are invited to enter Original Commissioned Work, Personal Work, Conceptual Photography and Spec Advertising.
Entries are done through an online entry system powered by Beam.TV.
Mobius Awards attracts entries from more than 25 countries, and judges are recruited internationally. Standard awards include a First Place Mobius Statuette, a Second Place Certificate, a Spec Advertising Certificate and a Student Certificate. Special Awards are Photographer of the Year, Cinematographer of the Year, Kodak Cinematography Award and Best Photography of Mobius.
Best of Show awards are selected from among first-place winners in the various mediums. New this year is a Best of Show-Student award.
Competition is open to consumer and business-to-business advertising created, produced, published, marketed, launched, screened or aired or reintroduced from October 1, 2009, through October 1, 2010.
