International production company, <a href="http://www.instantkarmafilms.com.“>Instant Karma Films, known for its green, eco-friendly production, recently completed a highflying spot for Gotham, Inc and their client Maybelline New York.
The spot was helmed by veteran director Rebecca Blake and shot at Santa Monica airport and in the skies above Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean and will air globally. Paris based DP, Arnaud Potier, know for his stunning beauty work lensed the multi camera shoot.
The spot features a Maybelline super model that arrives on the tarmac and boards her black Lear jet, takes the controls and pilots her aircraft over Manhattan.
All efforts were made to reduce the carbon footprint of the shoot, from the use of bio diesel generators, hybrid vehicles and recycled materials right down to the pre pro books. In addition, a donation to Carbonfund.org was made as an offset to the carbon emissions generated by the production and 1000 trees were planted through Instant Karma’s corporate partner, American Forests, the oldest non-profit organization and world leader in planting trees for environmental restoration.
