STAND SL 6920 NAB 2011
Image Systems, the company formed from Digital Vision’s acquisition of Image Systems AB, will present an expanded, end-to-end product line at NAB 2011. As announced earlier this week, Image Systems (www.imagesystems.tv), will manage solutions across three customer business units: media and entertainment, defence, and motion, with research and development shared across all units. Within the media sector Image Systems is now uniquely positioned to support end-to-end DI and restoration workflows with a range of products including the Golden Eye film scanners, Nucoda colour grading and finishing systems, and Phoenix image media restoration and mastering software solutions.
At NAB, Image Systems will officially launch a number of new products. New for the film-based archiving and restoration market is the Golden Eye III film scanner that includes a new LED light source for high-resolution image quality, increased processing speed and quick-change optics. Also, the new Golden Eye Archiver provides affordable multi-format film scanning for archives requiring high throughput for preservation. With the addition of the Phoenix image enhancement solutions and DVO Clarity, the new standard in film grain and digital noise management software, Image Systems will provide a complete restoration and final delivery workflow not before available from a single manufacturer.
For the Nucoda grading and finishing solutions, Image Systems will officially launch the next generation Precision grading panel featuring new touch screen technology with a modular and ergonomic layout. Also on show will be the latest 2011 software release featuring further enhancements to the creative colour toolset and post workflows including stereoscopic 3D; Open EXR/HDR; editorial and VFX for Avid and Apple FCP; and advanced digital camera support for RED and ARRI.
