San Francisco based Creative Monster hired Identity Studios, Inc. of Los Angeles Easter weekend to repair heavy damage to a McDonald’s commercial that aired last Wednesday during the Cleveland Cavaliers game. All 22 shots in the 30-second spot were compromised by light-induced damage to the negative, caused by a probable camera malfunction. Identity Studios was able to remove the damage completely and deliver a pristine cut for the broadcast deadline.
Identity Studios also supervised transfer, final color correction and finishing of the spot which is entitled, “Goes for Three” and features Cleveland Cavaliers Forward-Center, Ben Wallace. The colorist is John Scheer of Digital Jungle. The Supervising Agency Producer is Tom Papadimoulis of Stern Advertising.
