Hybrid Edit is pleased to announce editor Adam Epstein has been nominated for a Primetime Emmyยฎ in Outstanding Picture Editing/Short Form for the beloved SNL “Lincoln” piece he cut starring Louie C.K. (episode host). This comes on the heels of a spectacular year for the young editor who’s already proven to be a comedic force in the commercial world.
About ADAM EPSTEIN
Epstein has been a film editor for SNL for the past four seasons alongside director Rhys Thomas (Skunk US) and the iconic Jim Signorelli. With commercial credits including spots for major brands like Adobe and Stifel Financial, recent collaborators include directors David Gray (Station Films), Steve Reeves (Another Film Company) and Chris Robinson (Robot Films). Born in Boston, raised in SoCal and now living in Brooklyn, Epstein started his career at the award-winning Stun Creative as a producer and editor before joining Red Car, where he met Hybrid founders Susan Munro, Michael Bartoli and Gail Butler. When not cutting spots, Epstein writes and produces for a variety of TV and cable clients including Comedy Central, Discovery Channel and Sundance.
