NASHVILLE -- (SPW) -- Bob Farnsworth, CEO, Founder and Creative Director with Hummingbird Productions, one of America's leading producers of original music and sound design for the advertising, entertainment, and multi-media industries, will be a featured guest speaker during an upcoming
TEDx FrontRange talk. Please see: http://www.tedxfrontrange.com/program-tedxfrontrange-2014
Farnsworth will deliver a talk entitled "Hearing is Believing" as a TEDxFrontRange talk in Loveland, Colorado, at 2:20 pm Mountain Time, on May 22nd. Based on the premise that "hearing, not seeing, is believing," Farnsworth will demonstrate in his presentation various ways in which, in television advertising, the power of the music of one's spoken voice, and the music heard underneath the spoken voice, is actually more powerful than the images an audience sees on a screen. If someone misses the tonality of a voiceover message, or misses the tonality of the music that accompanies a TV ad, then the musician supplying the aural accompaniment has missed his audience, no matter how much money someone has spent on the visuals.
Farnsworth's talk will be a humorous yet poignant presentation. As most people know, TEDxTalks are designed to not only make interesting points about one's own industry, but also to apply them to making the world around us a better place. The "Hearing Is Believing" talk will be a power packed eight minute presentation, leaving room afterward to discuss what will likely be a bit of a surprise to the members of the Colorado audience.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
