Gravity, an international creative, content and brand communications company, with offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Tel Aviv, has named Roy Eventov as Creative Director for the company’s Digital Group. In his new position, he will provide creative direction and innovation for the company’s biggest digital clients. He joins Gravity from MRM Worldwide. The announcement was made today by Shemi Levi, Gravity’s Chief Digital Officer.

About ROY EVENTOV
Prior to joining Gravity Digital, Roy Eventov was, for the past two years, Vice President & Director of Design/CD at MRM Worldwide, a McCann-Erickson company, and one of the top five digital and direct agencies in the world. Based in New York, Eventov worked with such clients as Diagio, the U.S. Army and Nikon, and founded the agency’s video unit, serving as its Director and DP.
Eventov’s international career in graphic design spans over 20 years of experience, ranging from co-founding Blue Goo, a design studio in Tel Aviv, to working as a designer with Me Company, a leading design consultancy in London. Beginning as a Typographer, Eventov later expanded his skills to include a high level of proficiency in 3D, photography and cinematography.
After completing his BA and MA Degrees in Visual Communications, having attended both Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Israel, and Central Saint Martins, London, Eventov spent six years with Me Company (1998-2003) as a Senior Designer. There, he worked with major clients culled from the worlds of fashion, music, automobile, and high tech. These included Yamaha, Toyota, GM, Rover, NTT DoCoMo, Apple, Sony, Kenzo, Jaeger LeCoultre, Lanvin, Cacharel, Lancóme, Hussein Chalayan, Patrick Cox, Julien McDonald, Numéro magazine, Gloss magazine, Citizen K, Visionaire, Nippon Vogue, Björk, Ayumi Hamazaki, React and Mute Records.
During this period, Eventov participated in several Me Company exhibitions which took place in Tokyo, New York and Berlin. His work with the studio has been published in various magazines, earning positive reviews around the world. He also created a video art piece which was screened on SKY TV in England.
Following his post with Me Company, Eventov spent four years in Tel Aviv (2004-2008) as the co-founder and Creative Director of Blue Goo, a design studio which focused on digital media. With Blue Goo, he was responsible for corporate and creative oriented work. The company’s clients included Vodafone, Amdocs, Russian Standard, JWT Paris, Rolex, Lowe Stateuse Paris, Publicis Paris, Siemens and BBH UK. Concurrently, he also worked as a lecturer in "Vital Shenkar," an art and design academy based in Tel Aviv, where he shared his creative expertise with fourth year college students.

“Ǝvolution” Comes Full Circle At The Chelsea Film Festival
The Chelsea Film Festival, running from October 16th through October 20th, 2024, at Regal Cinemas here in Union Square, is set to host the East Coast premiere of Ǝvolution, a thought-provoking experimental micro-short film that proves big ideas can come in small packages and in perfect circles.
In just 1 minute 16 seconds, this cinematic gem by Award-Winning Director Romina Schwedler, with original music by Argentine Composer Ignacio Montoya Carlotto, explores a cycle as old as time: life leads to progress, progress leads to destruction, and destruction, well, leads back to life. But is this vicious circle unbreakable? Ǝvolution suggests the answer is yes, unless we decide to open our eyes.
